Ranulf Road bere:architects designed this certified passive house to be constructed with cross- laminated timber panels pre-fabricated in Austria. This super energy efficient house has two green roofs, heat recovery ventilation and an underground water harvesting tank. Rodrigues Associates had to work within the extremely strict confines of the London site in order to design a concrete substructure and retaining walls on piled foundations that would enable the Passivhaus superstructure to be supported without any thermal bridging.
